Travel: Auld lang Syne from Edinburgh
While quite a bit of the UK has been under snow over the past few days, we've been experiencing beautiful crisp wintry days up here in Edinburgh.
Tis a shame, as Edinburgh is absolutely beautiful in the snow.
Come Hogmanay (or New Year's Eve), Edinburgh fills with visitors from all over the world. I can heartily recommend you visiting at this time of year to experience the festivities for yourself. It's a wonderful Scottish experience and a fantastic way to ring in the New Year.This year, however, we'll be safely away from the crowds and will be spending the evening with the littlies and some friends.
I'll raise a glass (of whisky) to all of you at the "bells" and wish you a happy, healthy and fulfilled 2015!
